Meet Laura and Grant, a married couple whose passions run deep, particularly when it comes to preparing and enjoying great food, wine, and spirits. We hope you enjoy our collection of recipes, wine and liquor reviews, and pictures.

You may sometimes notice “themes” in our recipes, such as a group of them that feature the same ingredient; that’s because we like to have “Iron Chef” style competitions, all in good fun of course.

Regarding cooking, Grant tends to be the real artist – he’s particularly good at sauces and gravies, at combining flavor profiles I’d never even consider, and being a true gourmet. While we’ll both write wine reviews, he will be the one posting whiskey reviews, since I am not much of a fan of the spirit. :). I tend towards updating classic recipes, comfort foods, and baking.
